One of Shelley’s favorites made with lean ground beef, kidney beans, brown beans, and chickpeas in a thick tomato base. This dish is High Protein and Low Fat.
Shelley started adding chickpeas and beans because her daughter, who is the fussiest of eaters, actually loved the texture with the additions and it gave her extra protein without her knowing it!
Shelley’s chili is not a spicy dish, but if you like it hotter, just let us know in the “Special Instruction” box. Likewise, if your kids hate chickpeas or will “just die” if they eat a kidney bean, just let us know and we’ll leave them out.
